Feast or famine

The ASH Lab on the Neurobiology of Feeding and Motivation directed by Dr. Ames Sutton Hickey (she/her) studies the individual variability of food-related decision making in animal models.

Researchers in the lab seek to identify the neural underpinnings of diseases associated with dysregulated feeding. The lab uses a variety of cellular, molecular and behavioral neuroscience techniques, with a focus on open source approaches.

The ASH Lab
IS a collaborative AND inclusive space
centered on experiential learning for
all team members, including Dr. Ames Sutton Hickey.
